YVR Trailer Play Area
A project with Straight Line Design's Judson Beaumont for the Vancouver International Airport. Located in the AB wing, this children's play area was inspired the by the travels and exploration within the province of British Columbia.
The 'Welcome to British Columbia' sign and interior graphics for the play area were made using found images and custom illustrations. Printed on laminate.
Cherry Bed + Side Table
A privately commissioned project featuring a low-profile frame with drawers for storage. The Cherry Bed highlights the beautiful material by showcasing a continuous woodgrain through three drawer doors.
Mariko Coffee Table
Coffee Table takes cues from West Coast living. The top surface is reminiscent of wooden planks found at seaside cabins and the forest, while the geometric shape adds a contemporary touch inspired by the life in the city. The Mariko Coffee Table features a secret, hidden storage compartment bearing the client's initials.
Dr. Seuss Gallery
Kit-assembly chairs for the Dr. Seuss Gallery at the San Diego Museum of Art. The Chairs were coloured to match the four themes in the show: Green Eggs and Ham, The Lorax, Horton Hears a Who, and The Cat in the Hat. Designed on Illustrator and produced using CNC.
Sendak Clock Case
A custom display case for Princeton University. The Sendak Clock Case holds an artifact designed by the late author, Maurice Sendak. The complex shape of the display case was achieved using CNC technology.
A custom bed frame with storage that features a puzzle motif. The material is plywood used in a unique way that allows the multiple layers to be showcased.
